Bring Doreen Virtue to Justice

Bring Doreen Virtue to Justice

We demand accountability and that Doreen Virtue be brought to justice for illegally soliciting for donations for an unregistered charity. The site used to solicit these donations was taken down after we revealed that the operation was illegal.

A couple of other sites have been taken down since Doreen Virtue’s conversion, leaving many former students high and dry, stripping them of their rightful place in practitioner registers that were deleted without warning. These students were subsequently refused refunds, as were all but two students who were booted from student forums for asking questions.

The two students who received refunds so far include Lisa Frideborg Eddy and Ursula Clarke. You can read about Ursula Clarke’s experience HERE. Lisa shares her experience of the Angelologist course HERE.

We have good reason to believe that Lisa and Ursula were refunded only for speaking out against Doreen Virtue’s wrongdoings on platforms big enough for her sales to be impacted. Why else has nobody else received a refund? We have been in contact with dozens of very unhappy students who have tried to get refunds but keep getting passed from pillar to post by Doreen Virtue’s moderators, her partner Michael Robinson and her daughter-in-law Melissa Virtue.

You can read about what happened to the Fairyologist site and practitioner register HERE.

I have also received news that the Angel Therapy practitioner register was taken down. Many of the students listed there invested their life savings to study and get certified by Doreen Virtue. ETA 7 July: However, we recently discovered that Doreen Virtue’s con game on the Asian market is still in full swing. Not only is she busy pushing the AI online course there, the Japanese ATP practitioner register is still up!

Please contact us if you can have been refused refunds or if you donated to the animal rescue and have not yet been refunded. We also want to hear from anyone who can help with evidence about what happened to the 300+ rescue animals that were supposedly given to vegan friends – especially since we have evidence that at least some of the animals were in fact sold.

Doreen Virtue has issued a legal threat for a libel lawsuit against Lisa Frideborg Eddy for speaking out and demanding accountability for what happened to the rescue pigs. This was two months ago and it has become beyond apparent just how empty a threat this was. After all, it was Doreen Virtue who was on the wrong side of the law.

This site was created to show Doreen Virtue that we are standing firm in our fight for justice for the abandoned animals, scammed donors and mistreated students.

We will not give up until all animals are accounted for, all donors have been refunded and every student who asked for a refund has been refunded!

  1. It never made sense to me that she wouldn’t make her “rescue” a registered 501c3 charity. She had the resources and podium to attract grant writers and volunteers who could help her with the animals. But it makes more sense if she’s not accountable to report to the public how she is spending the money- a report more official than her just claiming on her weekly videos that it all goes to the animals. Shady business IMO

  2. I took Doreen Virtue’s courses knowing the content was poor and the delivery amateurish but I was interested in the topics and, most importantly, I thought I was contributing to the care for those animals. I am heartbroken they have been abandoned and there is no form of redress whatsoever. Any questions are deleted and former students are gaslighted and thoroughly disrespected. She has shown her true feelings towards those who made her a very rich person indeed! Shame on her! We want answers…

    1. We want answers about what happened to the animals. We want refunds. We want a public apology. Until we have all three, this site stays up.

  3. Just wanted to leave a message today to say well done to the author of this site for creating it.

I am a spiritualist who also followed Doreen Virtue and didn’t much like the divisive stance she has taken since her conversion. However I stumbled across this on someone’s blog recently and couldn’t believe what I was reading:

“As someone who was born and raised in the New Age movement, and as a former New Age teacher for over 20 years, I can attest to the destructive reality behind New Age spirituality. In The Second Coming of the New Age, Bancarz and Peck expose this reality, the deception behind it, and issue vital warnings about how the enemy is using the New Age to infiltrate our churches.”

    – Doreen Virtue, Ph.D., former best-selling New Age author and teacher, author of “The Joy of Jesus”

(This is a foreword to a book by a fellow Christian author.)

Could this get any more ridiculous? She’s been Christian all of 2 minutes and she’s written a book called “Joy of Jesus” and wrote a foreword bashing spiritual folk about our destructive beliefs and being in cahoots with the devil. Frankly, this sort of language about ‘the enemy’ comes off as unhinged.

Her understanding of Christianity can only be superficial at best.

    1. “Her understanding of Christianity can only be superficial at best” < --- This. And such a shame since it is is entirely possible to love Christ and be a good Tarot reader/medium. Thank you for commenting, Eleanor. God bless!

  4. She’s in it for the money and if she sets up a ministry she can have a tax free one. I am totally disgusted. I wish I could return the books and get refunds for them and classes. She is a deceiver.

  5. Like many, I was shocked about Doreen’s sudden spiritual change. However, I myself also went through a similar process. I had been a practitioner and student of earth based and new age spirituality, and I went from that to…something similar to where Doreen is. My foray into full blown rapture ready fundamentalist christianity started in 2007. I garbaged books and oracle decks and I was all in all fundie. It cost me dearly, it cost me my relationship with my only son, who is now 25 and has barely spoken to me in over a decade.
I am not going to get into the specifics of how I now see fundamental Christianity. I don’t care to argue with Christians. Let’s just say I have a much more broad, well rounded spirituality that cannot be defined or labelled.
I have recently re- read one of Doreen’s works about angels. I feel she was sincere then. I believe she is sincere now. I think she sincerely believes in her current spiritual path. As I said, I have been where she is, except I was not a prominent teacher as she was. And is.
Unlike Doreen, I chose that path on my own. I am looking at Doreen’s current husband and I cannot find any information on him online pre-Doreen. Doreen is on an extremely fear based road. I don’t know how I why she went there, but I would not be surprised if this husband of hers somehow has her in some kind of thrall. I suspect when the money is gone, he will be, too. In the meantime, Doreen, like all of us, has free will and is exercising it.
I don’t think this fundamentalist Christian thing is the final chapter in her spiritual story, but if she does come out of it, it’s going to be much more difficult for her than it would be for anyone else. She’s a paycheque for a lot of people, and I would imagine the leeches have a pretty big hold on her. She’s not just a person, she’s an industry unto herself. She may not even be fully aware of what is going on at a grass roots level re her brand and business dealings. I would imagine she is also getting pushed and influenced by a svengali type man. She wouldn’t be the first woman to fall under the spell of a man who is toxic to her. She is likely very much alone in this.
I am sorry for those who based their income on her certifications and those who paid for courses and did not get fair compensation. I think someday she will be, too. I think someday she will also be utterly horrified by how the rescue animals were dealt with…
And I think she will ultimately find all the physical and nonphysical beings she has recently spurned to be a lot more loving and forgiving than the beings she now consorts with.
My prayers are with her, and those who were hurt by this fiasco.
In the end, it will all come out allright.

    1. This site is not about Doreen’s beliefs. It was created in support of the victims, in the hope to bring enough attention to their plight for there to finally be justice and restitution.

      1. I understand that. I’m sure that those victims appreciate knowing they are not alone in this. From what I have seen, I don’t think there is anyone else out there speaking up for them. And let’s hope that if and when Doreen manages to shake herself free of those who have their hooks into her that there is any money left for compensation.

Perhaps class action lawsuits would be the way to go. That being said, Doreen could view that as persecution, which would make her dig in even further because for such folks, “persecution” only confirms to them that they are on the righteous path. Is she aware, does she care? Is she being told that demonic forces are harassing her? There’s a lot we don’t know. We don’t know what goes on behind closed doors or between her and her inner circle.

Ah, it’s a mess, the whole thing, and it’s a shame to see this happen. It’s been a blow to so many people in the spiritual community. I know a lot of innocent people got hurt and it doesn’t seem fair. When feeling a sense of hurt and injustice and helplessness, it really does help to get on with having a measure of happiness in one’s own life path, though. (‘The best revenge is to live well’, that sort of thing.) No one really ‘gets away’ with anything that hurts others, even if on the surface it may appear that way. We all know that.

In the meantime, for those folks interested in working with angels and such and getting back to a place of feeling good about the subject of working with angels and oracle cards of that nature, I have found Kyle Gray to be a breath of fresh air.

Thanks for your work and your caring and concern. I appreciate it. I hope eventually all concerned can find a solution that brings some sense of resolution to this.

        1. Hey Brenna, Kyle Gray is with Hay House and is one of the people who chose NOT to speak up to help the victims, so must of us who were there when it all went down will not support him or his work with our pennies.
